Osteopathy is a hands-on system of diagnosis
and treatment of the whole body. Osteopaths can collaborate with medical
practitioners as well as practice in their own right. Manipulation,
mobilisation, stretching and massage techniques are all used in treatment.
Osteopaths train for 4-5 years and study Anatomy, Physiology, Neurology,
Embryology, Pathology, Psychology as well as specific osteopathic units.
